Handybits File Shredder is a file wiper for Windows

Handybits File Shredder is a file wiper for Windows. It does exactly the same thing as many other applications out there do, but with the added value that it allows you to do it easily. This wiper works just like the rest. It prevents files from being recovered by adding dummy information into the physical sectors which that file had allocated to it. For example, when you delete a file, you only delete the part of the file that tells the operative system where that file is, not the actual file. By using Handybits File Shredder 5, you can write random information on those sectors up to 15 times. The added value with this application is the fact that it integrates closely with Windows. So you don't even have to open the application to start some wiping extravaganza. Simply right click a file anywhere on your computer and select "Destroy with Shredder." The file will be permanently destroyed so that nobody can ever recover it. This is perhaps the most effective way of getting rid of files on Windows. It is also a free application.
